Dramtic Classis

The perfect balance of Yin and Yang shifts towards a strong, direct and pointed Yang. From the neighboring Pure Classic, the Dramatic Classic borrowed its foundation - symmetry, elegance and moderation, and from the Pure Dramatic took additional features - elongated narrow lines, and sharper angles than the Pure Classic is supposed to be.

This combination creates an understated, refined and majestic type of beauty that David Kibbey called "Tailored Chic".
Face
драматик классик
драматический классик
The facial features of the Dramatic Classic are proportionate, medium-sized to large eyes, medium-sized lips, taut cheeks, medium-sized or slightly pointed nose.
Bone structure
Average height: up to 170 cm.

Facial bones slightly sharp: angular or square facial contours (chin, nose, cheekbones).

Bony body structure:

  • Symmetrical, with slightly angular edges
  • Straight and slightly broad
  • Shoulders pointed or slightly square, usually narrow.
  • Slightly square palms and feet

Body Line
фигура драматик классик
тело драматический классик
The figure at ideal weight is rather neat, compact and slightly muscular.

  • At ideal weight, the chest, waist and hips are to some extent straight and evenly proportioned
  • The waist may be somewhat short and high.
  • Legs and arms are usually of medium length or slightly elongated.

However, gaining even a little extra weight creates the illusion that the Dramatic Classic figure type is radically altered. Weight is deposited from the waist down, most likely - in the area of the hips. Rarely in the chest area. And the more weight DC gains, the more pear-shaped her figure becomes.

Brief recommendations

Your clothing lines should focus on recreating this symmetry through trim and tailored lines with sharp edges to accentuate your angularity.

Silhouette
Choose clean, sleek, and straight lines. Structured silhouettes with hints of sharpness, such as a square or V-neckline will match with the slight sharpness of your body type. Detail is imperative to your look. Keep it crisp and geometric with sharp edges (eg, pleats, crisp cuffs).

Opt for high-quality fabrics in moderate weights, which are not too stiff. Your best colours are neutrals and deep colours, which should be used to create high colour contrasts in your outfits.
Dramatic Classic is best avoided:

  • Tight, ornate, complex silhouettes with feminine ruffles
  • Shapeless, too wide, square or elongated horizontal silhouettes
  • Simple soft symmetrical silhouettes without sharp or sculptural edges
Hairstyle
Dramatic Classic hair can be either thick and straight or fine, silky but rarely coarse textured. It may be wavy or curly.

In either case, however, your hair should look elegant, sculpted or sleek when styled. The shape of the haircut is preferable geometric with sharp edges, it will emphasize the chiseled features of your face. It is best if the edges are straight, although layered cuts are also possible (it depends on the texture of your hair).

Moderate to short hair length. If your hair is too thin, it is better to opt for a very short and sleek hairstyle. Long hair is ideal to slick it back and give it a sculpted shape. If your hair is curly, the waves should also be given a sculpted shape. Asymmetrical details like a side parting will look great.
Dramatic Classic is recommended to avoid:

  • Elaborate hairstyles
  • Boyish short hairstyles
  • Sloppy hair
  • Symmetrical soft styles
  • Permanent curls and bouffant curls
Hair coloring
Dramatic Classic hair color should be rich and look as natural as possible. If you feel like dyeing your hair, it is better to choose a color close to your natural hair color.

If you want a dramatic change, your hair color can be slightly darker or brighter. If you want to color individual strands, try darkening them.
Attempts to soften the shade of the hair or radical non-natural colors for coloring will be unsuccessful:
Makeup
Dramatic Classic makeup is understated, intense and clean: expressive eyes, defined cheekbones, perfect skin tone and bright lips bring the strict chic of Dramatic Classic to perfection.

Eyes are best accentuated with carefully blended and fairly intense matte colors, blush applied in a slightly angular manner to accentuate the pointed cheekbones and choose a moderately deep lipstick to create the balance you need between bright eyes, cheeks and lips.

During the day you are recommended to use matte textures, only for the evening a slight hint of transparent pearlescent gloss is acceptable.
Dramatic Classic is recommended to avoid:

  • Overly bright makeup with heavy glitterS
  • Soft, softly blended makeup
  • Unbalanced makeup (lips brighter than eyes, or vice versa),
  • Neutral or complete absence of makeup:
